Flat Plan of DPS for magazine

This is a flat plan of my dps for my own magazine that I will be creating. This means that this is potentially how i would like the dps to be laid out and to be presented. The main image will be 50% and the editorial will be the other 50%. There will be no other images on the dps but the main image on the left hand side. This is so that the main image will be the main focal point of the dps, which should entice and engage the audience. The background of the main image will also follow on to the other side of the dps to give it a seamless effect.

Music Magazine DPS image ideas

On my DPS, i will have one main image. This main image will be a mid shot of the celebrity featured in the article. A mid shot will be used in order for the target audience/ readers to gain an insight into how the artist has changed from a pop princess to a more sophisticated r&b soul artist. The mid shot will also use direct address in order to entice and engage the audience and readers, as well as for them to be able to relate to the audience.

There will be no other images but the main image so that the audience can focus mainly on the artist and her change.

Music Magazine DPS Intro

"Jannelle in her mid 20s has arrived packaged unexpectedly with a new entertainment value. As, she embarks on an ambitious project with a modern take on r&b soul fusion from her old pop style."

The intro i used was a shock intro, as the audience would be shocked that this pop princess has changed her musical genre. This is because it is unexpected and out of the blue.
